dabluemekanic ha dicho: I'm a huge proponent of control decks - I believe they are important to any given environment, are one of the best ways to play, and just like them in general. A buddy of mine suggested they were dying out (and seemed happy for it). Counter spells certainly have gotten nerfed over the years, for example - will we be seeing more "control love" in khans? markrosewater: If you check the last year of tournament history, you will see control decks are doing just fine and maybe even a little too well. People seem to forget that the current version of control came after 4 or 5 months of mono black just taking over every tournament. Control being strong is good for the meta as it balances out the super aggressive decks. I prefer to play every single match of a fnm or ptq against U/W than play against naya aggro again.

"Oh, Mr. Nagano! You flatter me, sir, but I… I can’t marry you!"
“Asamitsu, you don’t understand: I love you. We’re gonna get married as soon as I talk to Lady Asazaki!” “…Mr. Nagano… you’re drunk, sir… you need to go home.”
